Technolution Prime develops security gateway for the Ministry of Defence
The Ministry of Defence has selected Technolution Prime to further develop a so-called ‘security gateway’. This project will make the gateway suitable for vehicles and flexible deployment. The contract is part of the FOXTROT IT programme, which is aimed at implementing and improving modern information and communication systems for our armed forces. With the security gateway, we are building on our existing ‘cross-domain’ solutions with data diodes, data filters and supporting hardware and software applications.
Real-time communication between secure environments
A security gateway provides secure links between networks and information environments with different classification levels. The gateway we are developing creates secure connections between military vehicles, systems, units and even individual soldiers. By doing so, it enables fast, real-time exchange of data between secure environments, allowing military units to act quickly and effectively.
Information-driven action
With this cooperation, Technolution Prime supports the Ministry of Defence Defence in developing and improving the basis for information-driven operations. The security gateway enables close cooperation between operational commands and with other armed forces, and also facilitates smooth communication with civilian parties. In this way, our solutions actually contribute to the effectiveness and digital resilience of the armed forces.
